Parties: The Dundas World Traveling Flagship Hits LA With An Opening Party

Totally backtracking to Tuesday night. It was one of those madhouse LA fashion nights that I was lucky enough to attend. Dundas co-founders Peter Dundas (formerly of Emilio Pucci) and Evangelo Bousis debuted their ready-to-wear label’s traveling flagship in Los Angeles. A new concept, as the idea of brick and mortar and retail continues to be upended, the Melrose Avenue pop-up get together brought out a star-studded and art world crowd from Beyoncé (an early devotee of the brand), Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosia, Kelly Rowland, Charlotte McKinney (why not have a quick Destiny’s Child reunion?) and Giovanni Battaglia Englebert to Katherine Ross and Maryam Malakpour. You can catch some of the looks on Erica Pelosini and Battagali below. You might have even figured out from the glam crowd the line is inspired by the founding duo’s jet-setting clientele. Adding to the fun, guests were treated to lots of cocktails and of course, a Casa Amigos tequila bar, along with racks of of garments from shimmering gowns to brightly hued blouses and beautiful flowing caftans-all perfect for the most exquisite resorts in the world or a special party. I came straight from work so I was still in my Monse power suit and didn’t have time to change into something more celebratory. It didn’t hold me back from having a great time.

Head on over to Dundas World to find out the tour schedule. You might be able to see this lineup in your city. It’s a fun stop.

Cheers From LA
