Our OPI Skyfall Lacquers Giveaway: Mark 50 Years of Bond 007

I’m a huge Bond fan and now I’m an ever bigger one. OPI is marking 50 Years of Bond 007 with Holiday Lacquers inspired by the upcoming release of Skyfall. When I worked at MGM, years ago, I even worked on the franchise. So it is near and dear to my heart.

The Skyfall Collection features six shades that play off the movie’s seductive theme, and another six that offer a more dangerous look from metallic and glitter finishes to jewel tones and even a jet black. These lacquers capture the film’s sophisticated and glamorous look. You’ll even see the new Bond girl, Bérénice Marlohe, wearing two Skyfall Collection shades in the film. Marlohe’s luxurious manicure is the perfect one to try this holiday season. Skyfall, a rich maroon, painted on top of the nail and GoldenEye, a shimmering gold, painted on the undersides.

To get this ultra special collection, The Blonde and The Brunette are doing a giveaway and YOU have the chance to win all twelve shades.  For a chance to win:

  1. “Like” this post on the The Blonde & The Brunette.
  2.  Leave a comment telling us what makes you an OPI Bond “girl”.

Entries will be accepted until November 14 , 2012 at 5 PM PST.  The winner will be announced on November 15th at 5 PST.  No purchase is necessary to enter or win. The giveaway is open to anyone age 18 and older with a valid email address at time of entry.

You probably also want to plan ahead, celebrate the 5oth anniversary of Bond with fellow world icon, OPI, and buy your tickets in advance for  the highly anticipated twenty-third installment opening in theaters nationwide this Friday, November 9, 2012. It stars our favorite Bond ever,  Daniel Craig,  and fabulous villain Javier Bardem.

The limited edition line is now available  at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA, for  $8.50 ($9.95 CAN)  per bottle. Visit www.opi.com for more information.

I might just be first in line for the polishes and movie tickets.
