Anna Wintour’s Favorite Cookie

I can’t tell you how The Blonde and The Brunette knows this but it is absolutely true.  Anna Wintour does have a favorite cookie and it’s from the Levian Bakery in New York City’s Upper West Side and there is also one in the Hampton’s, as well as Harlem.  Their signature cookie is packed with semi-sweet chocolate chips and chunks of walnuts so every single bite is as good as the one before. Huge, thick, and gooey, but crisp on the outside, the New York Times even said these “may possibly be the largest, most divine chocolate chip cookies in Manhattan.”  The also make the famous cinnamon buns that Oprah and Gayle King love.

Of course, we wanted to find out for ourselves if they were really worth the calories. We have a lattés and cookies (or cupcakes) tradition so it seemed rather important that we have a taste test. We ordered them online and had them shipped to our offices in Beverly Hills.   We have a winner!!
