Bundle Up: Fun and Furry Muppet Style

Brrrrrrr. Most of the U.S. is in the grip of a crippling arctic cold snap and Fendi “Muppet” Fur coats in playful colors and innovative styles are bringing much needed drama to warm up fashionistas everywhere. I had the honor of recently being invited to a very private Fendi luncheon in LA with all the dazzling, exclusive Fall 2103 runway coats. Along with Karl Lagerfeld’s original drawings being on display (and a portfolio of them being gifted to each guest), over 20 amazing coats were flown in from as far away as Milan for a gaggle of excited fans to check out. Looks ranged from the bright neon “muppet” colors, treatments that used a complex range of techniques to create dramatic looks, including versions of mohawks and zebra-stripes, as well as a spectacular range of Fendi “Owl” and Monster bags and shoes.

Bottom line. You can’t help but smile. What better way to help you brace against the cold.
