With all of the heartache and turmoil NYC has gone through in the last decade, most recently caused by Hurricane Sandy, our hearts ache for such an incredible city.

The Blonde and The Brunette thought artist Charlie Bidwell’s collection of photographs was a perfect piece of eye candy to get you through this weekend. Continue to keep New York in your thoughts and prayers.

And don’t forget : Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don’t and believe that everything happens for a reason.
