Can’t Wait: Converse x MMM

The high-fashion label Maison Martin Margiela and iconic footwear brand Converse are teaming up! The collaborative collection consists of the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star and Jack Purcell sneakers; both have been dipped in white paint, resulting in that signature Margiela look we’ve grown to love over the years.  Below the paint you’ll find a premium Converse sneaker with a colorful upper. As the paint slowly breaks off, the color underneath is revealed, allowing each sneaker to become utterly unique.  The dialogue between the hidden colorful upper and the French fashion house’s signature white paint makes the collaboration special while allowing both brands to shine.

The sneakers will be available in four colorways: Crimson Red, Black, True Navy and exclusive for Margiela: Vintage Sunflower Yellow. As part of the Converse First String Collection, the Converse Maison Martin Margiela sneaker collection will release on September 20 online and will be priced at $266 USD/€200 euros.

In Germany the sneakers will release exclusively at SOTO Berlin, priced at €200 euros.
