CELINE: Fall and Winter 2013
Lust-worthy and still very much the “it” bag, Celine, the purveyer of clothes and bags with ease and a couture-like attention to detail, is just getting hotter with each season. For Fall/Winter 2013, designer Phoebe Philo upped the ante and transformed some of the classic Celine shapes from the Trapeze, Phantom, Triple Shopper Totes to diamond clutches and went with rich new colors and textures — all while staying true to the ultra cool simplicity that devotees love.
Not totally satisfied, she then upped the appeal with it the introduction of what the brand is calling “satinated leather.” This means leather that’s been treated to replicate the “lit from within” glow and unique texture of satin. For a brand where the bags tend to be simple, leather treatments mean a lot to a design, and this is a great addition to Celine’s arsenal!
We need to get our hands on one these. Fall is looking shiny and new again! Bags are sold only in store at Celine boutiques and Barneys.

P.S. You know a brand is in demand when they don’t even sell it online.
