Behind The Scenes At The Giambattista Valli Atelier
It was almost time to say goodbye to Paris but not before a wonderful stop at the famed designer Gimabattista Vallis’s atelier. My gal pal Christine Chiu and I took in the show and couldn’t wait to try on a few of our favorites looks fro the runway. Valli designs for the women who loves a feminine look — short skirts, exaggerated florals and dramatic evening options. This season Valli went with gentle, flattering pinks and reds to a smashing shade of burgundy. Lots of great black and white wools and jacquard were also featured.
We were also bedazzled by the stellar array of crystal encrusted flats and metallic jewel toned slingbacks. So we dove in, and picked our favorites. Stunning outerwear including luxurious minks, a pink cashmere coat, and that burgundy runway dress. Oh yes, somehow I’m hoping it might just make it’s way to my closet.
