Oscar Style: If It’s Winter In LA Then You Must Be In Spring

First, the Arctic Express of cold air is right here in LA and it’s down-right cold and a bit too rainy for us Angelenos.  That means it is in the 30’s and 40’s at night!  There is even a predication for light snow. But, in the celebrity populated (loaned dress) fashion world, if it’s winter you are in Spring attire and if it’s Spring you are in Winter attire.  So right now, there are lots of Spring dresses at the parties and you can expect to see Fall gowns at the Oscars. 

The Blonde & The Brunette spotted a few trends including sweetheart necklines, great thigh-high party dresses with high necklines, very hot LBD’s, brights, prints and then a few brave celebrities who looked great and dressed for the weather.  We caught everyone from Halle Berry, Emmy Rossum, Anne Hathaway,  Brandy, Amber Heard, Kimora Lee Simmons and the gorgeous Jennifer Hudson with her son  (don’t they just look so great together) at pre-Oscar parties from the Global Green, Drive Angry 3D Premier, MOCA, InStyle, Swarovski Party For Rodarte, to the Harvey Weinstein & Dior Oscar Party Dinner to the Essence Luncheon.

No matter the weather, it’s just fun to be in LA.
