Max – I – Obsession

The Maxi Skirt is the sister act to the obsession that was and still is the Maxi Dress.  Some of you might think the maxi skirt is too risky, but here at The Blonde and The Brunette we have thought up all the different ways to wear this skirt & all you have left to do is put it on, add your own touch and ROCK IT!

The biggest question I get about these skirts is how to wear them without looking matronly, frumpy, or straight out of Woodstock.  For a bohemian look match a fuller skirt maxi with a loose top, a fur vest, some amazing heeled clogs, and lots of bangles & accessories.  For a more sophisticated look pair a straight maxi with textured tights, platform heels and a soft and sultry blouse in a soft, silk-like material.  And for a more casual day look, match a knit maxi with your favorite boots, a comfy knit top, chunky sweater, and throw your leather jacket over to top it off!
