New Kid On The Block: Lanvin

It’s the softest of openings.  What is it?  The new Lanvin Boutique on Rodeo Drive.  It opens today.  It seems like a welcoming over- sized closet which just happens to have the most magnificent art deco furniture and fixtures against  blanch and black backdrops.  I suspect there is also a V.I.P. retreat in the works (just like all true Rodeo Drive stores).  Rumor has it, there’s everything from the 22 F Collection, to knits, day wear, great Ts, evening wear, a bridal selection, and gifts along with their fabulous statement jewelry, handbags and shoes.  I think I might have spotted a men’s section discreetly sequestered off to the side with their ‘”made-to-order” and “tailored collection”, including a special assortment of  bow ties and lapel pins (which we think is a new hotter-than-hot trend).  It makes you wish that Alber was right there with you.  Tell them the Blonde and The Brunette sent you.  You might just want to tip toe in and check it out.  Lanvin Boutique: 260 North Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills.
