One Week Left. Peter Marino Collection At The Huntington
If you haven’t had a chance to see the exhibition “Beauty and Power” Renaissance and Baroque Bronzes from the Peter Marino Collection at The Huntington Library there is only one week left to view these magnificent works of art. From the personal collection of Peter Marino, an architect renowned for buildings designed for the fashion industry, the exhibition focuses on masterpieces made from the mid-16th to the mid-18th century in Italy, France, Germany and the Netherlands. These incredible small bronze sculptures are on display in the Mary Lou and George Boone Gallery. The exhibition will be closing to the public on January 24.
While at the Huntington be sure to see the stunning Camellias which are in peak season during January and February. You can find over 40 different camellia species in the North Vista, Japanese Garden and Garden of the Flowing Fragrance (Chinese Garden). Not to be missed if you are a Chanel fan.
