OPI Launches Mariah Carey Liquid Sand Nail Lacquers

There’s another new collection out from OPI. This time they have partnered with multi-platinum (and biggest selling female recording artist of all time) Mariah Carey to launch limited edition shades featuring the revolutionary new Liquid Sand™ Nail Lacquers. The groundbreaking technology uses a textured, matte finish infused with reflective sparkle. The never-before-seen look, with a pebbled finish, lightly shimmers with fine glitter particles. So Mariah! Worn without top coat, Liquid Sand lacquers give nails a unique textured matte finish clearly worthy of a superstar.

“Pink Yet Lavender” seems to be the favorite in the collection. It wasn’t even available as we made the rounds at the Kari Feinstein Golden Globes suite. Nail Garden, the new go-to LA nail salon,  told us this color is basically sold out everywhere. So if you find it, grab it. There are lots of other studio shades that are equally gorgeous including  A Butterfly Moment (a sophisticated and frosty tan nude), Sprung (a shimmery copper), Anti-bleak (a deep, creamy purple ) and Stay the Night (a matte black with red glints). We’re hearing that dark nail colors are what will be strutting down the red carpet at the Golden Globes tomorrow night because it’s so chilly in LA.  We’ll see.
