Heaven On Earth: Chanel Haute Couture

Karl Lagerfeld worked his incredible magic to create one of the best Chanel Haute Couture collections we’ve seen in several seasons.  The Spring/Summer  2011 show was presented at Pavillon Cambon-Capucines (on Rue Cambon) to a very appreciative crowd that loved every look.  There were the classic suits, dresses and ensembles, but many were shown with sequined, beaded or denim, boot-cut jeans.  A great addition to the collection was the tunic length jacket and fortunately, for a change, there wasn’t a high heel in sight.
