Stéphane Rolland

After spending 10 years at Jean-Louis Scherrer, Stéphane Rolland launched his own couture house with his first show in July of 2007.  Today marked his 8th Haute Couture presentation and his finest. The show was presented at the Palais de Chaillot, across from the Eiffel Tower.  The beautiful collection was largely composed of a stunning array of flowing, sexy, glamorous black tie gowns that any fashionista would love to wear.  His use of over-sized gold accessories were also intriguing.  One of the most interesting pieces was a bolero made of intricately weaved gold bands.  The gold was an homage to sunlight, a nod to his years spent in Argentina and the West Indies.
