A+ For Alexander Wang

He’s fierce and he may be my new favorite designer: Alexander Wang.  I love everything he does.  The shoes, the handbags and the ready-to-wear.  No wonder he won Accessory Designer of the Year from the Council of Fashion Designers Of America (CFDA) which honors achievement in America Design.  His attention to detail from his amazing metallics and patent leather to stitching and trims that surprise always make me think, “it’s so obvious but NOT!”.  He strikes the perfect balance of modern, classic, sexy, tough-girl versus cool girl combined.  This fall he’s outdone himself and won over the retailers including SAKS who has a special online store just for his designs.  Check it out at the Alexander Wang site or the Saks shop.
