Bella’s Wedding Dress
If you are a Twi-hard fan, and I admit that I am, then you are probably as curious as all of us about Bella’s wedding gown. Designed by Carolina Herrera, it will be officially unveiled at the film’s premiere Monday night, November 14th, in LA. Here’s the interesting scoop, Carolina Herrera is arriving in Beverly Hills the same day and bringing her Spring/Summer 2012 Fashion Show to to the annual Aviva Platinum Associates Luncheon (this time at the Beverly Hills Hotel) and Herrera will also be at the premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. This saga may be the wedding fashion moment of the year after the Duchess of Cambridge. The entire team from The Blonde & The Brunette will be attending the event to lend our support and of course catch all the fashion details.
The Blonde and The Brunette are speculating, like everyone else, what Bella’s wedding dress might encompass, so we created a montage of elements that we have heard may part of the design. We expect the gown will be more traditional, with long sleeves, lace, a”long line of detailed pearl buttons ” and potentially a train and a more traditional veil with a jeweled piece to secure it. Stephanie Meyers is quoted as saying “I wanted the dress to have a period feel without actually being vintage”. Ms. Herrera was just as cryptic and said, ” Of course I was inspired by Stephanie’s description of the gown but I also took into consideration the personality and the style of the bride”.
We’ll all find out together along with the Twi-hards who are currently camping out in Hollywood at the Nokia Theater. They’ve turned it into Camp Twilight with Team Edward and Team Jacob. Four blocks are shut down and fans are hoping to catch a glimpse of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson (who’s been sporting a beard around LA) and Taylor Lautner on Monday night. As of 11 PM last night, there were thousands of campers staked out. It’s getting as wild as the race to save Bella.
