Celine FW 2011: The Modern Uniform
Phoebe Philo once again accurately and smartly brought her vision to the runway. She has a sensibility that is the height of wear-ability and luxury for city girl’s everywhere. Celine’s 2011 Fall/ Winter lineup was long on statement coats and once again offered a new twist on the urban uniform. The introduction of subtle new colors that seem to derive from car interiors, special “straps” for the best open coat look ever all combined with turtlenecks and great layering options make her a big favorite for women everywhere. I still think she is the best at clean black and white looks that are day and transform to casual evening. All perfect for the modern woman on the go. Barney’s always carries a broad selection of her line and edits the collection with great skill.
