Chanel Spring 2012: A Dazzling Deep Dive

I wasn’t even sure it was Chanel at first. But is was and how wonderful. Karl Lagerfeld literally reinterpreted his own Chanel vision to silence and baffle the many imitators.  Using an underwater theme and another massive set, out marched a magnificent color palette including shades in sea foams, soft pinks and shimmery whites.  Take a moment and go through the images again and again and you will be captivated by a lightness of spirit and design. New fabrics, a subtle shine and iridescence seemed to be an important hallmark of the collection. It’s a softer, gentler spring.  Just what we all need.
