Weeks ago, I attended the stellar reopening of the David Yurman Boutique on Rodeo Drive. Hosted by David and Sybil Yurman, the revamped and bigger space was recently renovated to showcase a much wider array of their collection including one of a kind baubles. One of the standouts included a Tourmaline ring from Brazil—though currently no longer mined—that is a rare, rare find along with a special assortment of colored stones and one-of-a-kind settings. Celebrity attendees included George Kotsiopoulos, Emma Roberts, Kaley Cuoco, Lauren Conrad, Perry Reeves, Christa B. Allen, Esmé Bianco who all came out to support the very much adored couple and the great P.S. Arts cause.
But the big take away is David Yurman continues to evolve from its classic collections, which can almost be described as “essentials”, to the brand new Coil Collection which is a dramatic twist on the cable motif. I love it for its sparkling pinpoints of diamond “lights” and a beautiful nod to African nature and art. Their trademark engagement diamond ring setting ,with the its iconic cable and pavé band and four prong setting, stands the test of time as the perfect choice. You can go to their e-store for what they call a “quick buy” experience . Prices start at about $150. David Yurman.
