DIY Chanel Manicure & Trend Alert

A new manicure is taking over and we’ve got the DIY details.  This coveted Chanel nail art was spotted at their Couture Fall 2012 show during Paris Fashion Week where models walked the runway with pink and pewter nails.  Since Chanel nail art is always feminine, unique and out of the ordinary, I had to try this manicure for myself!

Use similar colors or go authentic with  Chanel Le Vernis in Pearl Drop, Graphite or if you still have it, Kaleidoscop . Each one suits all skin tones, and mix it with Chanel Nail Colour in Ballerina. The perfect pale pink. Together they create the runway Chanel Nail Art Couture Fall 2012 look. Here’s our ever so easy five-step process to strut it like the models.

1. Apply two coats of Silver Nail Polish and let dry!
2. Once the silver polish dries, line the bottom and sides of your nails with tape.
3. Apply two more coats of pink nail polish!
4. Let dry and remove tape.
5. Seal with top coat.

Congrats. You now have Haute Couture nails.
