Everyone at The Blonde & The Brunette loves loves loves fireworks and nothing celebrates the 4th better than an over-the-top pyrotechnics display.  Two of the best in the country are located in our LA backyard at the Rose Bowl, or  at The Hollywood Bowl.  Why not try and go?  There might just be some last minute tickets available.  Elsewhere in the major metro areas, don’t forget the great shows at the Navy Pier in Chicago and the spectacular Macy’s Fireworks on the Hudson River in New York City.  Then, of course, there is the classic Boston Pops in (where else?) Boston.

If you are in the very dry Western States, especially fireworks, fires and smoking have been banned in some areas. Wherever you are, we hope the night sky lights up for you.  Don’t forget to make a wish because we live in country that celebrates independence in mind and spirit making all things possible.  There we go getting sappy again. Happy 4th!
