Hollywood Style: Do’s and Don’ts
We rarely do this but we couldn’t hold ourselves back. Guess + PAPER Magazine had an event this past week at The Standard in Hollywood and it was a night of style missteps. We’re not naming names, but don’t show your midriff (even if it’s the latest style) when you walk the red carpet. Or, at least select an elegant ensemble. Be careful with sheers, suspenders and anything resembling a clown. But, I bet you knew that already.
Now for the do’s from the Cinema Society and Nancy Gonzalez event and How To Succeed In Business Premiere. Both were held in New York. Michelle Williams once again leads the way in a chic black and white dress (and we think it’s Derek Lam) along with Sophia Coppola, Katherine McPhee and Dana Delaney (and she has on the hot Prada spring shoes) making the rounds with her new TV show debuting; Daniel Radcliff is very spiffy in his tux and John Stamos always pulls it together in style. There is a wide array of great looks (the bright pants!) that can work whether you are on the Red Carpet or just out to dinner. Even if you aren’t part of the Hollywood crowd, you can find your own way to succeed in business, and still be fashionable, with unique courses from online MBA programs. It’s one of the best ways to get in to the entertainment business.
