Interior Trendspotting: It’s No Longer Hip To Be Square

roundinteriors

In the past, round mirrors have always taken a backseat to the widely used rectangle. Times are changing, and this season, it’s no longer hip to be square. We’ve seen a recent influx of round mirrors taking over our Pinterest feed, and we have a new found spherical obsession!

Round mirrors are nothing new, so why are they suddenly commanding all the attention? A rooms composition is naturally made up of straight lines and right angles, which is why I believe the round mirror’s silhouette is such a welcoming addition to any home. From the bathroom to the bedroom, to the living room, or even over a vanity. Round mirrors make a statement anywhere you place them.

As always, the trending look is oversized. The bigger the piece, the greater the impact! From rustic to glam to metal and minimalist, the round impact is always the same as it offers an uncanny ability to make the most the smallest of space feel grand.
