Well it’s official! All the rumors were true!

Kanye West is indeed working on a womenswear label with British designer Louise Goldin (who designed Rihanna’s New Years Eve dress).  Rumor has it, we will be seeing the new label as soon as this Fall.

“I have known Kanye for about two years,” Wilson, the course director of the MA Fashion at CSM, told us. Goldin is a former student of hers, and supposedly a very promising one at that. Wilson went on to tell the Guardian “I think we can expect a well-considered collection, you wouldn’t expect less from a pair of professionals and I warn against dismissing it in haste. There are those who might assume Louise will be doing all the work and Kanye is just the face, I don’t believe this will be the case – he researches thoroughly and is hands on and committed to his work”.

I guess we’ll just have to see about that!  Check back for a sneak peek of Mr. West’s new line as soon as it debuts!
