Nail Polish: The Amazing Spider-Man Collection Summer 2012

July 4th weekend is finally here and so is the OPI launch of six, new limited edition nail polishes called “The Amazing Spider-Man” in collaboration with Sony Pictures, and their blockbuster, tent pole must see flick. The film and the polishes are both amazing.  The colors are dark and sexy, just like the film, its stars, on screen and off-screen lovers, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, and their portrayals of main characters Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy.

The colors range in mood, just like the film, with six nail lacquers from white (“My Boyfriend Scales Walls”), coral (“Call Me Gwen-ever”), and pink (“Your Web or Mine”), to dark hues of midnight blue (“Into the Night”), gun metal gray (“Number One Nemesis”) and yellow-green (“Just Spotted the Lizard”).

Spider-Man’s new villain, “The Reptile”, looks so awesome he inspired us to can create a similar look by using the new deep green shimmer “Shatter Coat”. The effect is a shattered green spider web effect over the base coat of your choice.  You can control the amount “shatter” by applying the shatter dryer or wetter base color. The Amazing Spider-Man Collection launches the night of the 3-D movie premier on July 3, 2012!!  $7.25 each.
