2013 Resort Round-up
Even though the Paris Haute Couture is already underway for Winter 2012, we’re going to backtrack just a bit with a quick roundup of Resort 2013. Who says we have to do everything in just the exact order like everyone else? Let’s not. The big take ways, which you can do right now with your wardrobe, are great pants, pops of color, with neon as fresh as ever, printed jackets, denim on denim, a great dress (preferably a shift as an important wardrobe staple). Peplum continues to be so on trend , and Dior continues to rock it, and you will see it in their upcoming collection as well. Colored pants with great jackets and tops, and dresses over pants are also an exciting ways to add edge to your style. For evening, maybe you should try to sing the blues! With any of these looks, make sure straight pants are hemmed above the ankle and bell trousers are longer , with a deep break in the front, over a platform. One final style note: pointy-toe stilettos, especially by Louboutin, are quickly becoming the new “it” shoe.
