Nothing screams summer more than a Little Pastel Dress, aka the LPD. Whether you are a Blonde or a Brunette, pastels look gorgeous, feminine and are very of the moment. Brunettes usually look best in the cooler pastel tones such as baby blue, lilac and a pale silver while yellow, peach and blush are typically more flattering on blondes.
For day, a pastel dress looks best with a cardigan (my favorite is the cashmere cardigan from J.Crew ) and a strappy gladiator sandal. At night, I like to funk up my LPD with a leather jacket and booties or do a nude shoe which elongates the look. If you do wear a black shoe, make sure to also wear a black purse or jacket to tie the whole look together. Day or night, it’s a look we love
