Rachel Zoe Spring 2012
It was only a couple weeks ago we were reporting on Rachel Zoe’s Fall 2011 line at Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills. Now, here we are with NYFW and Rachel’s Spring 2012 collection and I can already see many of Rachel’s Fall 2011 pieces transitioning nicely with those from the Spring collection. We see a lot of crisp whites and warm tones, tailored blazers, flowy dresses and high-waisted bottoms. And, just like her fall collection, I see several staple must-haves for any woman’s spring wardrobe…particularly the butterscotch blazer and cognac leather shorts. One thing that is stand-out is the burgundy-royal blue color combo; I love these rich tones year-round.

says:brahmsrules: I’m guessing you’re still in High School right? It’s just that boys are at thier most suficpireal (it might be the same for girls too, wouldn’t know seeing as I’m a man (a manly man! Rawr!) who just happens to read girly comics) during thier teens, probably due to raging hormones and a media diet of twig-like supermodels and sluts posing as pop stars creating that idea of beauty as masturbation material. If you want to get a mans (a macho manly mans!) perspective on this whole make-up issue here it is: Do you notice anything different? Is a mans one true weakness, it is akin to kryptonite or arsnic poisoning to us. Our brains shut down and go into panic mode, our eyes start to zip about in a frenzied rush to figure it out. Unfortunately this glance over you is so frantic, in order to not keep you waiting too long for the answer, that we miss the vital information we were looking for, this is when our eyes rest on your breasts, so now we’re forced to either make something up followed by a quick escape (e.g. Did you gain weight? then while you’re stunned we make a hasty retreat) or apologetically say No, but you’re still gorgeous (of course if you then say I shaved my head THEN we’re still in massive trouble).IF and WHEN we notice something different we’ll wonder if you had it done weeks ago and we were just completely oblivious and it would therefore piss you off completely if we were to comment on it now, or we’ll think that it was such a minor thing (i.e. covering up a spot) that it’s not worth mentioning, after all what woman wants to hear That huge freaking pimple on your nose has really cleared up nicely . Sometimes we will notice that you got a new hair-cut, you are wearing lip gloss, etc and we will compliment/ comment on it and the more we see you the more likely it is that we will notice. So if you could just refrain from that question everything will be fine after all isn’t a genuine, spontanious compliment better than forced one?Confucious say: If you go fishing for compliment you just end up with old boot.

says:I keep hearing a lot of netavige comments about her being pregnant saying she is too skinny to be pregnant. That it would be unhealthy. Let’s hope that isn’t the case.
