Red-Hot Redheads
They’re back and Christina Hendricks from Mad Men and Julianne Moore have made it look easy. Perhaps one of our all-time favorite redheads is Amy Yasbeck. She is gorgeous inside and out and she has the most beautiful red hair ever and a smile that won’t quit. Fernando, the great colorist at Jose Eber, who specializes in brunettes and redheads, gave us a few hints. Choosing the right shade of red is the key to making it work. According to Fernando, “it’s critical that you chose the right red for your skin tone and soften the shade to make it work. Brassy is out. It probably was never in. And, darling…not everyone’s meant to be a redhead. If you don’t have a bit of red in your skin tone then forget it. According to Fernando, “copper, golden copper, auburn copper and honey copper are the best reds and fall is the most popular time to give red a try”. So if you are thinking about it, it might be a great change. Call 310-278-7646 to book time with Fernando. He specializes in brunettes and redheads.

says:that dark skin tones do not look good with blonde hair, hovweer i’ve seen many pictures of women with a mixed skin tone like mine (golden brown beyonce’ skin tone) looking very nice with a full head of blonde highlights. I would want to keep my natural length which you could say is mid-length/long.I really want a change!I’ve always had dark hair and never ventured for anything different, so i was thinking of keeping my natural color underneath, but mixing it with a full head of blonde highlights. Not platinum or bleach blonde, more of a darker shade blonde if you get me Please give me suggestions and advice on what you think is most sensible, if it helps i have very loose curly hair but i am thinking about purchasing a very good pair of straighteners and having a full side fringe cut,Also, if you don’t mind, could you give me your opinion on what i was thinking about.Since i haven’t had a change in hairstyle for years, i would love to have really short choppy layers cut into my hair, but this isn’t possible with curly hair, the shorter hairs would stick up and looking a complete mess! I would have to stay committed to straightening my hair every day until the layers grow out, what are your opinions on this? I just really want a change! Thank you so much x
