Trending: Is The Luxe Drawstring Pouch Making A Comeback?

This just popped up on my personal fashion radar. The luxe satin, embellished, knit or velvet drawstring pouch  is making a chic comeback. Huh? It just snuck up on me. It’s one of those things where you might just want to get ahead of the curve as Attitco has fully embraced it for Fall 17. One. It’s a very individual, personal statement that is easy to morph from season to season and outfit to outfit. Two. It plays into my backpack obsession.

I’m still not quite sure how this all got started but I suspect the inspiration might have be the almost one-off sold out Brunello Cucinelli mink drawstring backpack that debuted last winter and was in a few locked glass display cases at uber select retailers. Then it just showed up in the Resort 17 Balenciaga collection by Demna Gvasalia (of Vetements fame),  paired with a matching red ribbed turtleneck. Now that’s a twinset. Anyway, judge for yourself. I think I see a trend I can embrace.
