Paris Fashion Week Fall 2012 : Gareth Pugh

It’s Paris Fashion Week and, so far, my favorite show is English designer Gareth Pugh. Gareth got his start interning for Rick Owens and wow has he come a long way!

His dresses and jackets, made from black and gray snakeskin, leather, and fur, were spectacular; and I just loved the over-the-knee boots. Gareth accented the dresses with gorgeous spikey shoulders, and the leather-trimmed black coat with fur sleeves was over the top.

Front row were Daphne Guinness and Michelle Harper, and his mentor Rick Owens. And by the way, Jimmy Kimmel had a quiz Thursday night on his show, to ask the audience to guess if these designs were Fashion Week or Photoshopped! Leave it to Jimmy. But the audience knew. Fashion Week!
