Hermes’ New Store in Paris

Hermes opened its new spectacular Paris flagship store on Rue de Sevres this past November.  Located in what used to be the indoor swimming pool (original mosaic tiles intact serving as the gorgeous floor) of the former historic Hotel Lutetia, this is an absolute must see for any Hermes fan.  You will find all of the usual Hermes luxury goods here, albeit with an emphasis on home furnishings such as fabrics, wallpaper, and carpets as well as ‘Jean-Michel Frank par Hermes’ numbered furniture re-editions.  In addition, there is a flower shop by florist Baptiste Pitou, a bookstore, and a tea bar on the balcony, appropriately named The Diving Board.
