Trendy Tuesday: Wearing Black & Navy Is The New “Do”

We noticed it on the streets of Paris this past week.  Navy and black. Once a fashion don’t is now a fashion do!

I’m so glad the days of “don’t wear this, don’t wear that, don’t wear this with that” are over.  These days, it seems there are so many fashion rules we no longer have to abide by including my favorite being the “don’t ever wear black and navy” together hoopla.

I remember a few years ago, when wearing black and blue was almost forbidden. But these days, pairing a deep blue and black looks almost more chic than the ‘classic’ black from head to toe look! We should have known, seeing how Chanel has been known to spice up the runway with a little navy and black for what seems like decades!

 Nowadays, it’s not only Chanel who’s getting away with this look, it’s everyone. This winter has only proven, that if you’re not doing it, you’re missing out! Even if it’s only adding a pair of opaque black tights to a navy blue dress, or pairing a navy bag with an all black ensemble this one is definitely a rule worth breaking.
