C Magazine Celebrates Cavalli

I must apologize for the long delay in this post, but here’s the scoop. The official round of Fall events in Beverly Hills always starts about a week before the Emmy’s (and that was about two weeks ago so you can see how behind I am) and the signal is the small, intimate event that Jennifer Hale, the publisher of C Magazine throws for about a dozen select guests every year. It turned out to be the hottest day of the year at over 100° and record humidity. This never happens in Beverly Hills. So we are not all looking fresh as a daisy. Quite the contrary, in fact. Even some of my photos are blurry.
Despite the scorching heat, we loved the very exclusive fashion presentation of the Fall 2011 Cavalli line at the Rodeo Drive boutique. Carefully edited, models presented dramatic runway pieces with some of the favorites being the spectacular gowns along with a new array of exciting prints and fur accents. To get into the mood, champagne and macaroons were served at noon. An intimate luncheon followed at Spago including special Cavalli sunglasses for guests and Wolfgang Puck sitting down to chat with all of us. Guests included famed stylist Jane Ross, Kelly Katz, Colleen Bell, Larissa Sabadash and Kendall Conrad. Even if I am late, it’s official: it’s Fall in Beverly Hills.

says:That aside, I think that a multiple-contributor blog would give you spopurt and provide some other perspectives. You could combine this with your ideas on coaching/ghostwriting and work with intern’ contributors to hone their skills, see their work supplying your site, and give them the tools they need to take your philosophies and understanding out on their own tangents. It might give you a regular supply of fresh, new writers and keep things going while allowing you to step back a little.
