Jewelry Statement : Delfina Delettrez

Delfina Delettrez is a fabulous Italian jewelry designer and, by the way, a 4th generation Fendi!  Inspiration for her new line originates from some very strange bedfellows; the drawings of Leonardo Da Vinci, with a touch of Tim Burton’s “Nightmare before Christmas”, and a dash of his “Corpse Bride”.  The confluence is gothic, romantic, crazy, and Rock & Roll, all at the same time!  She has blended skulls, flowers, spiders, crosses, insects, skeletal bones, and even eyes, in a wild and wonderful new line.  Delfina uses a wide variety of metals including copper, gold, silver, and iron, and combines them with exotic woods, glass, crystal, and even marble from the Massa Carrara basin in Italy.  The resulting collection has to be seen to be believed!

The skeleton bracelet is a mind-blowing and a one-of-a-kind statement piece.  I am in love with Delfina Delettrez’ collection!!!!  (P.S. I’m going to buy the green cufflinks for my darling for his birthday ☺)
