Kate Bosworth – Fashion Spotlight

The Blonde & The Brunette love the glamorous and chic Kate Bosworth. We have been obsessing over her since the movie “Blue Crush” and watching her glow on the red carpet ever since. Her style does not go unnoticed. She knows how to dress for her body type by choosing  elongated silhouettes, higher necklines and just the right shoe to accent her look from very hot “pointy” stilettos, sexy sandals and the occasional bootie, which should always be worn with a shorter hemline, just like Kate.

She is often so elegant with a tight bun, soft pink lipstick and a elegant neckline.  We also wanted to highlight how she changes her style with a chic high bun, on top of her head, worn with red lipstick, to pull it all together.  It’s a beautiful look that every woman should try. To change things up, Kate wears geometric patterns or loose, easy waves that are naturally beautiful . Two of our favorites are the recent Joseph Altuzarra patterned cocktail dress (above)  that she wore to the recent 2012 CFDA Awards in New York and the way she makes a LBD work over and over again in new and exciting ways. Embellishment. Feathers. Transparent lace (one of our favorite trends that we hope has real staying power) and the subtle focus on her beautiful waistline.  We love you Kate!
