It’s not every day we get invited to one of the hippest and hottest events in all of Hollywood, so, of course, we jumped at the chance to be at the young Hollywood event of the year: The annual NYLON May Young Hollywood Issue celebration.

Astrid and I had the best time scoping out the latest hipster fashions and mingling amongst the fashionable hipsters in the young Hollywood scene. Cover star, Juno Temple, and The Secret Circle’s Britt Robertson (in Tommy Girl and Tommy Hilfiger) joined Editor-in-Chief Marvin Scott Jarrett and Publisher Jaclynn Jarrett to celebrate.  The evening, presented by  Tommy Girl, kicked off with a private dinner located at Public Kitchen and Bar at The Roosevelt in Los Angeles, followed by a poolside after-party under the stars at the hotel.

Best dressed goes to the petite and adorable Emma Roberts in Alice + Olivia striped sequin mini dress.  I love that dress!  She was accompanied by her friend, Rumer Willis, who likes to keep to herself.  Emma and Rumer stayed together most of the night arm and arm.  Astrid and I also saw them together the next night at the Victoria’s Secret party, so, like us, they are making the rounds together!

Other party goers included American Idol’s Pia ToscanoNikki Reed with husband Paul McDonald, 90210’s Gillian Zinser (in vintage Tommy Hilfiger), Justin Deeley (in Tommy Hilfiger), Michael Steger (in Tommy Hilfiger) and Rob Hoffman, GLEE’s Chord Overstreet and Darren Criss, Revenge’s Ashley Madekwe (in Tommy Hilfiger), Christa B. Allen, among others.

Summer fashion trends such as the statement skinny pant and the feminine romper were on display on many of the fashionable attendees.  Two partygoers and fellow bloggers supported these trends.
