Milan closed out with Robert Cavalli’s Spring 2013 Collection. If there was any doubt, it was a quintessential array from the master of superb showmanship. Like many a show this week, which was particularly ironic for us, The Blonde & The Brunette, the fashion parade started with blondes in white and graduated to brunettes in black.
Cavalli declared each look was one of “43 paintings” and he covered his whole style arsenal from slip dresses, his signature prints, sexy cut-outs, leather, embroidery and exquisite beading. Each piece was a study in balance, perfection and the quintessential “Cavalli” girl. Enough said. The photos say it all. The master just created another masterpiece.
