Summer (Lip) Sticks

O.K. We’re a day late for National Lipstick Day. You can probably guess where we’re going with this. If you were only allowed one beauty product for the rest of your life what would you pick? Eyeliner? Blush? Mascara? Lipstick? I would have a tough time choosing between mascara to brighten the eyes and lipstick to simply make me feel good. In the end, I’d have to vote lipstick!

So no wonder there’s a National Lipstick Day. There’s just something about lipstick. When I put it on, I just feel good. I feel finished, beautiful and ready to take on the world! There’s nothing a good lipstick can’t accomplish. On that note, summer is here, and so are the summer lip shades! Sophisticated brights and flattering nudes. This season has a little bit of everything. Whether your going for fresh faced and subtle, to sultry and sophisticated, I’ve tried them all, and I’ve rounded up my all time favorites along with some of the other B & B ladies.

If you’re going for something to soften your look, you can go au-natural with a nice nude, or throw on a pastel pink (an NJ favorite) to spruce up your sweet side!

If you want to step out of your comfort zone and embrace everything summer has to offer, coral is the perfect pop! It looks great on everyone, and works wonders to help accentuate that summer tan!

An obvious favorite for the summer is red! The best part about red is it works year round, morning, noon or night!

Want something a little sassier, but not ready to commit to the boldness of bright red? Fuchsia is your answer! It’s girly, sweet, and bold, and looks great on all skin tones! It’s the perfect pop of color to wear from day into night.
