The Summer Sandal Report: The Block-Heel Basic

The report is in, and this season the block heel is the new basic!  The perfect summer and transitional piece, the new chunky heeled sandal updates any look, and works great for anything from rocking it at the office, to daytime, to a night out on the town! We love how chic and effortless this style is, and bonus – they are actually comfortable to walk in! Yes!

We’ve spotted the chunky heel beautifully paired with everything from a one piece jumpsuit, denim, and on celebs in summer mini dresses or classic all-white ensemble. We especially love the color blocked version of this look.

Some have even gone so far as to pair the look with ankle socks, an outré pedicure or a totally laid back vibe.
