A Day of Emmy Pampering
The stardust has settled and we have one more inside scoop on all the pre-Emmy beauty marathons I attended. One of my favorite events was the fabulous Softcup Beauty Retreat at the lavish home of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof (who coincidentally put her home on the market the same day for a whopping price of $26 million)! It was filled with celebrity guests and taste-makers all of whom were in indulging in various spa treatments and sipping specialty cocktails, poolside, by ZING Vodka, the Maloof family’s brand new spirit venture. I spotted everyone from “Real Housewives” Kyle Richards, and Camille Grammar to actresses and reality stars Anna Lynne McCord, Melissa Rycroft, Kym Johnson, Lisa Rinna, Dana Ramirez, Dana Ramirez, Jamie-Lynn Siegler, Garcelle Beauvais, Diane Neal, Alexis Bellino, Taryn Manning, Brooke Mueller, and Fiona Gubelmann.
The highlight of the afternoon might just have been my introduction to the Effy Jewelry line. Featured everywhere from Lucky magazine to spotted on the Kardashian girls, I loved it. What could be more fun than trying on gorgeous bling (what girls doesn’t enjoy that). After all, diamonds are a Blonde’s best friend!
