Beauty: Lancôme Show x Alber Elbaz

Rarely has there been so much buzz about  a collaboration.  I’ve been drumming my fingers, holding my breath and anxiously awaiting to get my hands on the deliciously happy, limited edition nine-piece Lancôme Show Collection by Alber Elbaz. It just launched online and arrives tomorrow in stores. Yeah!

Comprised of Lancôme bestsellers, which includes one set of false lashes, their famous mascaras (Hypnôse Doll Lashes, Hypnôse Star, Hypnôse Drama, Definicils) and four different Color Design Eye Shadow Palettes, each piece bears the the designer’s beloved whimsical doodles.

Elbaz  uses four scrawled motifs from striking blue stars, red hearts, pink polka dots, and green heavily lashed lids along with winky eyes and kissy lips to make us all smile . This was all apparently inspired by his ” time backstage at the Lanvin shows.”  The designer explained, “when I come out at the end, all I see are people’s eyes.”
