Christian, hand signed one edition for one lucky follower of The Blonde and The Brunette. I am such a Louboutin-fan, the first time I went to Paris (like 5 years ago) I searched the entire place to find their store, just to find out that every single pump that I loved was sold out in my size. But persistent as I am, I go back once every year, and it wasn’t until the fourth time that they had them in my size.
The most perfect nude patent leather pumps, truly gorgeous.
I treasure them as if they were a Tiffany engagement ring.
Also I just moved into my new apartement and an “out-of-control” book like this one would just be perfect in my interior!
Every night before bedtime I would flip through the pages dreaming about my next pair of Loubies!

says:Last weekend I went to a piano concert of the Labeque sisters, in Ghent, Belgium. One of the sisters had blackblack hair, a pale skin, and she wore a flaming red dress. At first I was kind of thinking ‘uh girl, this isn’t right’ but then I noticed the red sole of her black pumps and suddenly, the pieces fell together. There’s just something about a Louboutin that makes everything else look ok.

I love shoes (what girl doesn’t?) and I love books (what writer doesn’t?).
The great thing about Louboutin is that it’s really a kind of wearable art.
I adore high heeled ankle boots or high heeled classical pumps.
Unfortunately I’m a bit limited in what I can wear. I have small, thin feet that used to fit in about every kind of shoe. But then I had a foot operation in which they had to cut out a piece of bone (it started growing wrong from too much inline skating). It left a huge scar and since then I can’t wear any real leather. The material is too hard and presses down on the scar. So I usually wear suede and have a huge collection of suede ankle boots and pumps in about every color.
