The circus is coming to town! Opening July 21st of 2011 and closing New Years Eve 2012, the wonder of Cirque Du Soleil comes back to the iconic Kodak Theatre with a new stage show entitled “Iris”. Journeying through the history of Cinema, “Iris” takes the two leads on an adventure where they fight between reality and fantasy.
Set deep in the heart of Hollywood, The Kodak Theatre is the perfect venue to fully succumb to the wonder of this exploration. Excitingly, this will be a “Resident Show” at The Kodak, so if you have plans to come to LA any time over the next 6 months, be sure to add this to your list of “Must See’s”.
Watch the masterminds develop this Cirque concept into a captivating dance/theatrical interpretation here!
The joy of Cirque Du Soleil is that this modern-day “circus style” performance shows how much the human body can be used as a genuine art form. From flexibility, to song, to dance, there is no way to leave the theatre feeling the same as you did upon arrival. Have an interest in film? You cannot miss this show.
Tickets are on sale now, and can be purchased here. Previews begin July 21st, 2011.
