Nail Polish Trend: Essie’s “Sure Shot”

Our latest polish find at the Blonde and The Brunette is  Essie’s new “Sure Shot” Resort Collection for Spring 2012. With 4 new fabulous colors all inspired by dazzling Hollywood legends, it was hard to choose a favorite. From left to right:

  • 794 “Pink-a-Boo” is light translucent pink with a duo-chrome twinkle that shifts from blue to deep pink.
  • 793 “She’s Picture Perfect” is pale iridescent lilac purple with gray sparkles.
  • 792 “No More Film” is a creamy deep violet almost purple
  • 791 “Sure Shot” is a deep magenta with a beautiful shimmering finish.

My favorite is “Sure Shot”. A beautiful  fuchsia, it has suddenly become my new favorite color for summer; particularly when you have a tan, and it looks great on your toes too!  Of course, I love it with anything black.  You’ll really stand out!

We also have a special  B and B Style Tip: To get long-lasting nail polish make sure to  apply: 1 transparent base coat followed by 2 colored coats and topped off with a transparent top coat. It’ll last for 10 days!! What’s your favorite?  Leave a comment and let me know. I’d love to hear from you. $8 each at Essie.com and Nordstrom.
