This is my bad. We spotted this early last week and had a few favorite looks. Stella McCartney sent out, in her words, a Fall 2013 collection which was about “inserting the feminine into masculine.” Using banker’s stripes, a few beautiful plaids and mostly over-sized looks, that tended to swallow up the models, many editors (and we don’t know about buyers) were on the fence. McCartney has been focused on tight silhouettes, but sometimes a girl needs to breathe and even move with a sense of freedom. These are clothes and shoes for living. For the woman on the move. Not for a calculated photo op. On your mark, get set, go!
